Promoting Behaviour Change

What works and why?

It has been evident for some time now that the Government cannot legislate away the many challenges and threats it faces. More and more our domestic and international policy priorities rely on the effective and successful promotion of behaviour change on the part of citizens and consumers.

Much is understood about the theory of behaviour change, but examples of successful behaviour change are less well known. This conference provides an opportunity to learn from a series of different examples of how behaviour change has been made to work in Government.
